Josie Day, a Greenwich High student, passed away two years ago at 16. Everyone who was fortunate enough to have known Josie loved her for her incredible enthusiasm and spirit. It was her dream to return to Haiti, where she grew up, and help to rebuild after the earthquake. Unfortunately, she never made it there. To honor Josie's memory and fulfill her dream, the Greenwich Chapter of buildOn®, composed of students from high school to college, has decided to build a school in Haiti. buildOn®, is not a charity. It is a movement to mobilize teens to lift up their communities and change the world through intensive local community service and by building schools in some of the poorest countries on the planet. Help the Greenwich Chapter and continue on with Josie's legacy by donating to Josie's Dream.
Saturday the 18th from 10am to 2 pm at Arch Street Teen Center, exit 3 off I-95
$5 donation per car
Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far...... every day we get a little closer to helping the people in Haiti and making the dream a reality!
