At International Studies Academy we believe in learning about our global community. In our buildOn program we thing Globally but act locally by doing service. Today we're planning to raise money to help build a school!

Our goal is to raise $500 to help build a school in Nicaragua. What if the nearest school to you was 10 miles away and you couldn't just drive, you had to walk? You'd have to walk in rain or shine or even snow. What if you couldn't even afford books? You wouldn't even know what the world was like or even how to reach goals that you'd dreamed of, but never thought were possible. How would you feel, while others lived perfect lives? You'd feel neglected and hurt. Even $5 could help buy books or food. You can do so much, with so little. Please sponsor us for the "buildOn Walk".

The buildOn walk is a walk that buildOn is hosting to help raise money to build schools in developing countries. Those that raise $25 are able to walk around Lake Merit in Oakland with a bucket of water on their heads!
