Family, friends and colleagues,

In November this year, I will be traveling, with 14 of my colleagues from Moss Adams, to Nepal to break ground on a school in a rural village in Southern Nepal. We will be working side by side with the people of the village and will be staying with host families there.

Though our team will only be in Nepal a short time, BuildOn representatives will remain to work with the villagers to finish construction over the following two months. The impact the completed school will have is endless, as it will serve as a refuge for the children, where they will be bestowed the gift of an education.

I am so excited and feel so fortunate to be on this team, and am asking for your help as we raise money for construction materials and to support an evening progam aimed at educating the women of the village. Your tax deductible donation (of any amount) to my campaign is truly appreciated and will help break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education.

Today there are 1.2 billion people around the globe who are illiterate largely due to a lack of access to education--72% of those illiterate are women. Providing access to education for even one remote village can change the lives of hundreds of children living in poverty year-after-year.
