This August, I will be travelling with 29 fellow GE colleagues to Nicaragua to build schools in two deserving villages. As a team, we are excited for this awesome opportunity to connect with a new culture and make a lasting impact within their community. Individually, I am excited for how this trek will help me develop as a person and help those in need.
Our team seeks to raise $85,000 to support the construction of both schools, and I have set a personal goal of $750 to contribute to our cause. Any donation you are able to make to my campaign, however small, would be greatly appreciated!
Consider what your donation could accomplish:
$22 - Provide access to education for 1 child in a developing country
$220 - Provide access to education for 10 children in a developing country
$1,100 - Provide access to education for 50 children in a developing country
Today there are 1.2 billion people around the globe who are illiterate largely due to a lack of access to education. 72% of those illiterate are women. Providing access to education for even one remote village can change the lives of hundreds of children living in poverty year-after-year. Make a donation to my campaign and help to break this cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education!
Thank you very much for your support!
